Tier 2 Services

Targeted Prevention-Based Groups

NJ4S Passaic County’s Tier 2 services are geared toward students (grades 6-12), their families, and school staff who have been identified as candidates for evidence-based targeted intervention and support. These services are established through a school-based referral.

Support for Students’ Mental Well-Being

At NJ4S Passaic County Hub, we offer small-group support led by experienced mental health professionals to help students navigate life’s challenges. These groups provide a safe space to build confidence, develop coping skills, and connect with others who understand their experiences.

Available in both English and Spanish, our in-person and online groups focus on real-life topics like managing friendships, handling stress, building resilience, and addressing issues such as body image, substance use, and bullying.

We work directly with schools to bring these programs to students, ensuring they receive the right support when they need it most. Together, we’re creating healthier, more supportive school communities where every student has the tools to thrive.
